I’m Yonatan, I was born in Israel in 1987 and been living here all my life. I grow up in a small town called Zikhron Yaakov and when I was a soldier in the IDF I fell in love with the Desert and spending time outdoors.
When I finished my military service, I dedicated myself for outdoor hiking and rock climbing and spent most of my time being in nature. When I was 22 , I crossed all of Israel in the famous Israel trail that is 1000 KM long (600 miles) and decided that I wanted to be a tour guide and completed my training specializing in Youth.
When I was 24 , I decided to do my first Degree in Psychology and Philosophy, while dedicating myself to my other passion, Psychology. However, my passion for tour guiding led me to complete another Tour guide course that specializes with an even more advanced understanding of Israel. I guided, climbed and volunteered at mental hostels until early 2020 when COVID started. When tourism collapsed and I needed to reroute my career. I then decided to follow my psychological passion and moved to Budapest, Hungary ,and studied for my Masters in Clinical psychology, which I completed successfully in the summer of 2022. Now, having returned to Israel I’m doing my internship as a therapist but since I didn’t want to leave tour guiding behind , I’m using my knowledge for planning and designing trips as a tour guide, a Psychologist, and even as a rock climber.
